Equity funds see outflows due mainly to outflows from US equity funds

Fund flow data from the week ended 15 April portrayed a mixed picture despite positive market sentiment, with both emerging market (EM) and developed market (DM) assets delivering strong returns.

DM high-yield (HY) funds continue to receive strong inflows, with both US and European HY funds enjoying strong inflows.

However, US equity funds saw large outflows as the US earnings season unfolded. Unsurprisingly, European equity funds, continue to receive strong inflows
