Goku could be inching closer to achieving a mastered Ultra Instinct form in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 64. Hopefully, this will give them a much bigger chance at finally neutralizing Moro.
Goku is moving closer to activated mastered Ultra Instinct
Right at the beginning of the current story arc, it was hinted that the Ultra Instinct will play a major role and would be central to the plot. However, Goku has been having difficulties in transforming and using its mastered state that appears to be their best chance at defeating Moro. But there are signs that better things would happen in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 64.
It can be recalled from the earlier chapters, Merus noted that it might help Goku to go through another very severe crisis to achieve the mastered Ultra Instinct. The Angel also commented in chapter 63 that Goku will just need something that will trigger him to use the transformation and dominate it. The last panel in chapter 63 implied that Goku has been overcome with rage after seeing Merus disappear for breaking Angel Laws when he fought Moro. While losing Merus is a saddening event, his sacrifice might not be in vain in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 64 if it helps Goku achieve his main goal.
Moro suffers a major disadvantage, thanks to Merus
Aside from the possibility of Goku getting closer to achieving mastered Ultra Instinct form, Moro is also coming from a major loss after his fight with Merus. The Angel did not waste his last moments of existence and made sure to destroy all of Moro’s orbs, thus, removing the villain’s copy abilities as well. While it is unlikely for Moro to be defeated in a snap in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 64, the odds appear to be in the protagonists’ favor.
There is also a good chance for the other fighters to get back on the battlefield in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 64 or in future chapters. Dende reached them in last month’s chapter and he only has one goal, and that is to fully restore the fighters’ power starting with Goku.
