“Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 18 will not air this week due to the delay. This may be frustrating to fans as it is already near the end of the Universal Conflict arc but then, there is no choice but to wait for another week.

“Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 18 has been titled "Super Decisive Battle! Gogeta Vs. Hearts!" and as stated it will be about the great battle between two powerful warriors. This will be an intense fight to watch because the fate of the Earth will depend on the outcome of the faceoff.

Confirmation of the delay

The delay of “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 18 was announced through social media in November. As posted, the date of airing for the eighteenth chapter has been reset from early to late December. There was no given reason for the hold-up but it could be related to the holidays.

It should be noted that while it was shared that “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 18 is returning in the last week of this month, the exact day when it will arrive was not mentioned. Thus, fans could wait until just before the New Year for the upcoming episode’s release.

Spoilers - The battle of Gogeta and Hearts

When “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 18 returns, Goku and Vegeta would have already fused themselves to be the more powerful Gogeta. It will be a long battle and the Z fighters may also provide some backup to ensure their win. This ultimate faceoff is expected to mark the end of the Universal Conflict arc.

The synopsis for “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 18 reads, as translated and posted on Twitter reads: “Gogeta and Hearts clash! The fate of the universe is riding on the mightiest fused warrior. How will this earth-shaking super decisive battle play out?!”

Piccolo, Jiren, Hit, Android 17 and Trunks will be there with Gogeta as they unite to save the planet. In the end, spoilers revealed that they will crush Hearts and eventually declare the planet safe from the hands of the villain.

Meanwhile, fans should not be confused for the manga and anime version presented a slighly different story. In the manga, Goku and Vegeta banded together to beat Hearts while in the anime, it was Goku alone, in his Super Saiyan Blue form, who fought him.
