“Doctor Who” Season 11 has exceeded all expectations so far with the premiere episode accumulating 10.9 million views for the BBC. But there is more to come as the 13th Time Lord (Jodie Whittaker) deals with a slew of challenges in the upcoming episodes.
With the help of her trusty sidekicks Graham (Bradley Walsh), Yasmin (Mandip Gill), and Ryan (Tosin Cole), The Doctor will go back to 1955 and meet American civil rights activist Rosa Parks (Vinette Robinson) in the third episode. Apparently, the Doctor suspects that someone is trying to change history.
Titled “Arachnids In The UK,” “Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 4 will feature the gang dealing with spiders as they head back to Yorkshire. “Coronation Street’s” Shobna Gulati and “Sex and the City's” Chris Noth guest stars in this episode.
Meanwhile, get ready for a space adventure in “Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 5 as the Doctor, Yaz, Graham and Ryan band together with another group to deal with “one of the universe's most deadly -- and unusual -- creatures.“ This should be an interesting episode.
And lastly, the guys are going back in time once again in “Doctor Who” Season 11 Episode 6. This time their destination is India in 1947. While Yasmin attempts to discover her grandmother's history, the Doctor is going to notice that there are demons haunting the land.
In other news, the cast and crew of “Doctor Who” Season 11 are really happy with what they have achieved so far, and showrunner Chris Chibnall has thanked the viewers for their support.
“On behalf of the entire Doctor Who team, a huge thank you to viewers for taking Jodie’s Doctor and her new friends into their hearts, in such huge numbers. It’s a thrill being deluged with pictures of families snuggled up together, kids (and adults) hiding behind sofas (they actually do that!), and seeing all the extraordinary creative artwork inspired by the show,” Chibnall said, via the BBC.
