SAVANNAH, Ga., March 22, 2017 -- Crossroads Chiropractic and Wellness Center has announced their upcoming complimentary spinal testing. The show is scheduled at the International Trade Center from March 24 – March 26, 2017. Crossroads Chiropractic and Wellness Center will provide complimentary thermographic back scans to help determine the source of participants' pain. The practice will be offering examinations and consultations (a $250 value) for a $20 donation to a local charity.
The first step to correcting any medical issue is to determine the source of the problem. Only then can the root cause be addressed. This principle is simple, but it is often hard to carry out. When the back is the source of pain, this is especially true. That is because the nerves of the spine often report pain not in the back itself, but in the body part or organ that the affected nerves are connected to. Thermographic imaging bypasses this difficulty by looking for the heat caused by inflammation, which will be present in the part that is actually causing the pain regardless of where the pain seems to originate.
"People are often surprised to learn that even severe pain in their legs, necks, or arms is actually originating from their spine. When nerves are affected, they report pain sensations to the brain. The brain sends this feeling into conscious perception based on the part where the affected nerve is attached to instead of where the signal is coming from. Thermographic imaging allows us to bypass that reporting system and save patients from years of misdiagnoses," said Dr. Mark Domanski, D.C.
