DALLAS, March 29, 2018 -- ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs® – is teaming up with Full Swing, the leader in sports simulator technology, to provide year-round golf entertainment at six select clubs and to grow the game amongst members.
With the strategic alliance, announced today, members at the select clubs will now be able to enjoy golf entertainment throughout the year with the clubs’ newest amenity, the Golf Lounge, a sports and social hub. The Golf Lounges will feature Full Swing, the indoor sports simulator used for personal practice and fun by some of the world’s top PGA TOUR players. Offering food, cocktails and brews, The Golf Lounges will be available for members to hone their game or swing for fun and for private parties, member events and social gatherings.
“Full Swing’s innovating technology attracts all kinds of people to golf, and we are so excited to be able to offer this new amenity to these members,” said Mark Burnett, ClubCorp president and chief operating officer. “The Golf Lounge and Full Swing will be huge for the diehard golfers, who want to play throughout the winter months, and a lot of fun for all members, both kids and adults. Plus, Full Swing is a great way to introduce the game of golf to new players.”
Full Swing is the industry leader in cutting edge sports simulator technology, providing an accurate and truly realistic indoor golf experience. Full Swing’s simulators, which use a Patented Dual Tracking Technology to produce realistic ball flight data, are found in the homes of major champions like Tiger Woods, Jason Day, Jim Furyk and Padraig Harrington and 2017 Champion Golfer of the Year, Jordan Spieth.
“When I bought a house in Dallas, I chose to install a Full Swing simulator in my new home,” said Spieth. “I’m a big fan of their technologies and wanted a practice solution at home that I can trust. When it’s time to work on my game, I can fire up my sim and get meaningful data and feedback. The Full Swing sim is the closest thing to being out on the course.”
ClubCorp and Full Swing leaders see this alliance as a great opportunity to give ClubCorp members an enhanced golfing experience across physical and digital platforms. Using Full Swing’s Patented Infrared Dual Tracking Technology, players can track their ball flight path as they hit, receiving real-time insights on speed, distance, angle and accuracy for a more interactive, gamified experience.
“Our alliance with ClubCorp signifies our commitment to giving people the opportunity to play golf year-round, and also revolutionize how ClubCorp members play both on and off the course," said Jason Fierro, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Full Swing. "With more than 430,000 ClubCorp members across North America, we have an exciting opportunity to introduce and reinforce the great game among a massive audience and believe this is just the beginning of what Full Swing and ClubCorp can do together."
Clubs launching the new Golf Lounges with Full Swing Simulators include Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, Georgia; Medina Golf & Country Club in Medina, Minnesota; Norbeck Country Club in Rockville, Maryland; TPC Michigan in Dearborn; Rolling Green Country Club in Arlington Heights, Illinois; and Seville Golf & Country Club in Gilbert, Arizona.
