KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 09, 2017 -- Cerner, a global leader in health care technology, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the first two towers at Innovations, the organization’s newest campus in the Kansas City area.

Cerner President Zane Burke and Cerner Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Nill were joined by Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens and Kansas City Mayor Sly James to commemorate the milestone in the multi-phased project. The office is expected to create capacity for up to 16,000 new jobs by 2025 and is the largest economic development project in the history of the state.

This will be Cerner’s seventh campus in the Kansas City area. The first two towers house 3,000 Cerner engineering associates and were designed with open and collaborative meeting spaces to encourage creativity, dynamic thinking and community.
