DALLAS, March 06, 2018 -- CareerStaff Unlimited today announced it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services Certification. The certification demonstrates CareerStaff Unlimited’s commitment to providing qualified and competent health care professionals to outstanding health care organizations throughout the United States.
CareerStaff Unlimited underwent a rigorous onsite review on February 23, 2018. Joint Commission representatives evaluated the Company’s compliance with national standards. These standards assess how health care staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of staff, placement of staff, and how they monitor performance.
The ongoing shortages of nurses and other health care professionals have forced health care organizations to increasingly fill positions with temporary workers through contractual arrangements with staffing firms. In October 2004, The Joint Commission established the Health Care Staffing Services Certification, which is awarded for a two-year period, offering an independent and comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm’s abilities to provide competent staffing services.
“CareerStaff Unlimited has demonstrated its commitment to providing quality health care staffing services to health care organizations as evidenced by its achievement of Joint Commission certification,” said Patrick Phelan, executive director, Hospital Business Development, The Joint Commission. “We recognize and commend CareerStaff Unlimited for its efforts to provide a safe, high-quality standard of service.”
“CareerStaff Unlimited is pleased to receive certification from The Joint Commission, the premier quality improvement and accrediting body in the nation,” added Steve Saville, President, CareerStaff Unlimited. “Achieving The Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Certification demonstrates our continuing commitment and accountability to the clients we serve and the health care professionals we employ. Our certification provides peace of mind that you are working with a company committed to quality, safety and integrity.”
