“Bull” season 3 will continue the story where it left off in the second season finale. Fans will get to see what happened to Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) after experiencing intense chest pain while in the courtroom. Did he survive?

The last time that the viewers saw the lead star, he was having a heart attack while at work. Since he is the main character, it would be odd to let him die, so as everyone can already guess, he lives and overcame his major health crisis.

What “Bull” season 3 will answer now is how he survived. Based on the previews, Bull is stronger and is back at work in Trial Analysis Corporation.

Plot

As per TV Insider, executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron explained that the life-threatening incident experienced by the lead character will change his life forever. He was given a new lease on life so he will make sure to live his life to the fullest, filled with positivity.

"I would hope that it would have a positive impact and it would make him appreciate life more and make him be somewhat more sensitive to people," the EP told the publication. "He’s a very sensitive fellow and he means to be nice, but every so often he slips or he’s a little myopic in his thinking."

Pilot Episode

“Bull” season 3’s title for its pilot episode was revealed to be "The Ground Beneath Their Feet." As shared through a press release, the first episode’s synopsis reads: "Bull returns to work following his heart attack with a new rich client for the firm to represent: an insurance company being sued by a dying mother for denying coverage of her liver transplant."

Cast

“Bull” season 3 will retain most of its main cast lineup led by Michael Weatherly, and he will be supported by Freddy Rodriguez (Benny), Geneva Carr (Marissa), Jaime Lee Kirchner (Danny) and Chris Jackson (Chunk).

Sadly, Annabelle Attanasio (Cable McCrory) is set to leave and her departure will be shown at some point in this third installment. MacKenzie Meehan will return in a recurring role as the single mom Taylor. Lastly, Carolyn McCormick will be one of the guests and she will act as a tough judge.

Deadline reported that “Bull” season 3 will premiere on Sept. 24 in its new time slot at 10 p.m. EST.
