The custody battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has recently devolved into a back and forth of accusations that are damaging both the celebrity’s image. While the couple enjoyed a 10-year romance together after their affection blossomed on the set of “Mr. And Mrs. Smith,” it has now morphed into something foul.
Angelina Jolie recently accused Brad Pitt of being a “deadbeat dad.” In response, the “Troy” actor said that he has already spent millions in child support and even loaned the actress money in order to purchase a Los Angeles house.
Weeks later, Angelina Jolie somewhat simmered down and stated she just wants to settle the legal proceedings with Brad Pitt. However, it seems that the “Tomb Raider” star isn’t done quite yet.
Page Six reported that Angelina Jolie might be using the press to her advantage as she’s been seen going out with her kids in the paparazzi-infested avenues of Sunset Boulevard. She did this a couple of times in the past few days, something that the site finds suspicious given that this area is where budding celebrities go if they want to be photographed by paparazzi. Perhaps Jolie feels the custody judge will favor her more if she is seen being more involved in the lives of her children. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt doesn’t seem to use this kind of approach as his visits with the kids mostly involve private gatherings at his house in California.
Whatever the case, it seems that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s custody battle isn’t going to end any time soon. And even if it does, the two will then have to proceed with their divorce settlement, which hasn’t been finalized because of the custody case. This turn of events in their lives certainly is quite the headache for both celebrities.
And with the gossip media adding fuel to the fire, it seems that this headache will persist in the coming months. Longtime fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been hopeful that the two will get back together, but seeing how things are at the moment, that possibility has long since faded into the background.
