Mitsuki's disappearance looks to have lasting consequences in “Boruto” episodes 74 and 75. The upcoming episodes in the “Boruto” saga will be a one-hour special, which promises great fight scenes and animation work.
Fans will remember that Mitsuki left Konohagakure after reading a letter that was left in his home. At the same time, an attack happens at the Hidden Leaf Gate that puts the ninja village into lockdown. Boruto and Sarada's search for Mitsuki brings them to Orochimaru's laboratory, where they discover more secrets about their white-haired friend. Unfortunately, the village finds out that the rest of Team 7 has gone out to search for their former teammate, which brings the plot to the events of “Boruto” episodes 74 and 75.
“Boruto” episodes 74 and 75's preview shows Team 10 facing off against the remaining members of Team 7. Team 10 looks dead set on stopping Boruto and Sarada from continuing their search for Mitsuki and returning them to Konohagakure. The preview's voice-over includes a line from “Boruto” pleading to his former comrades that he only wants to see Mitsuki again and clarify why his friend left Konohagakure.
While “Boruto” episodes 74 and 75's preview mentions that Team 10 is willing to use every trick up their sleeve to get Boruto and Sarada back to Konohagakure, fans can hope that Team 7 can convince the Team 10 members to help them in their search for Mitsuki as Orochimaru's secrets about him could have drastic consequences for Konohagakure itself.
Fans looking forward to the confrontation between Team 10 and Team 7 in the search for Mitsuki can catch the one-hour special consisting of “Boruto” episodes 74 and 75 on Sept. 20. The show will return after “Boruto” episodes 74 and 75 on Oct. 7, shifting its weekly broadcast day from Thursdays to Sundays. Fans of the show can stream the upcoming one-hour special on Crunchyroll.
