“Boruto” Chapter 28 has been a long time coming but it’s almost here. This chapter will feature the latest developments in the Boruto-Kawaki dynamic, which was previously left strained. In the upcoming segment, things are about to get more complicated, with Naruto acting as a father figure to Kawaki. Coupled with the broken vase incident, fans are joking that this could lead to a new global conflict.

Spoilers for “Boruto” Chapter 28 are posted over at Reddit, where details about the upcoming installment are being discussed. Scripts for the dialogue and the scenes are also available for readers to check out, though, it should be noted that they could be wildly misleading. However, the pacing seems to suggest that Naruto is paying special attention to Kawaki due to their similar histories.

Unlike Boruto who grew up with a complete family and in an era of peace, Naruto was similar to Kawaki in that he was neglected and treated badly by those around him. This is why “Boruto” Chapter 28 will show the Hokage to be quite the doting dad to Kawaki, which Boruto will witness.

It’s also worth noting that there is a scene in “Boruto” Chapter 28 where Boruto hands glue to Kawaki, which is likely indicative of his desire to have the latter fix Himari’s vase. Fans are having a lot of fun talking about this part in the Reddit thread. Some are even suggesting that the eventual end of the world will be caused by Boruto refusing to forgive Kawaki for the broken vase.

There is also the concern expressed by some fans that the extra care that Naruto is showing Kawaki could cause Boruto to feel jealous and resentful. After all, the start of the series shows how much Boruto wished his father would spend more time with him. “Boruto” Chapter 28 should reveal if this is a concern when it is released, which will be on Oct. 22, OtakuKart reports.
