In the next episode of “Better Call Saul,” it appears that Saul (Bob Odenkirk) is going to explore a new venture of dealings. But the preview also implies that these transactions are very sketchy and that he has to do it behind Kim’s (Rhea Seehorn) back in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5 highlights stories to unfold focused on Saul, Kim, and Mike (Jonathan Banks). The official teaser reads, “Jimmy identifies a new market for his talents. Mike vets a potential partnership. Kim drives a hard bargain.”
The first scenes in the preview show Saul telling Kim that there is something he has to do for work in the middle of the night. She tells her lover that he needs to make a good impression in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5.
It is likely that Saul is referring to a case he will be working on in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5 since he is also seen in the courthouse. However, other scenes indicate that what he is up to might have nothing to do with work.
At one point in the “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5 preview, Saul is seen walking on the streets late at night. Then, in various cutscenes, he is seen meeting several new faces and appears to close some deals on the side of a street when no one is looking.
Meanwhile, while visiting the courthouse at night, Saul will find Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian) looking very tense. Saul asks Howard if he is okay and the latter gives a positive answer. However, Howard’s composure tells a completely different story. Reports speculate that Howard is being haunted by the death of Chuck (Michael McKean) in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5.
As for Kim, the preview does not give away what “hard bargain” she is going to deal with in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5. However, the trailer shows scenes where Kim receives a call about a “huge problem” and then promises to what looks like a client that a certain mistake she made “won’t ever happen again.”
“Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 5 titled “Quite a Ride” will air on Monday, Sept. 3, at 9 p.m. on AMC. Then it will be streamed on Netflix starting on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
