BTS V makes new records; Fans preparing amazing projects for his upcoming birthday

BTS V is making new records on China’s Baidu. As per the reports, the BTS member’s fan site in Baidu called Baidu V Bar made a new record again proving that it is one of the most powerful fan sites out there.

According to Allkpop, BTS V’s fandom’s site placed no. 43 in the list of 100 sites. The ranking was for the TOP 100 sites on Sina Weibo's "Hot Social Media Ranking.” The competition to get a spot is stiff and as a matter fact, only V’s fansite made it on the list.

What is Weibo?

In any case, for those who are not aware, Sina Weibo is China’s version of the micro-blogging platform that is similar to Twitter. It has been running since 2009 and is one of the most used social media sites in China.

Currently, BTS V’s fansite with the handle name of @KIMTAEHYUNGBAR_ has a total of 1.46 million followers. Members of this site were said to be responsible for the huge purchases of BTS’ albums like the “Persona.” V’s fans were said to have bought around 2.6 billion worth of the said album and because of this, the fansite was labeled as the no. 1 Chinese fan base of a K-pop idol.

In any case, BTS V’s birthday is coming up. He will turn 24 on Dec. 30 and his thousands of fans are putting their heads together to get him the best gift. It is common for fans to prepare various events that can even include charity works and this year, it was revealed that after months of preparations, Kim Taehyung’s fans would launch the first part of their project.

It was disclosed that it is called the Project Vionysus and it has the theme “Mark of the Golden Age.” This project will begin with the distribution of the 13 million copies of BTS V’s birthday celebration news with a full page of the idol singer’s wishes. It will be distributed around Korea and fans are hoping the newsprints will also reach The Blue House, the official residence of South Korea’s president.
