BTS V celebrates 24th birthday; #BornToVLoved and #HappyVDay trended worldwide and dominates the list of top tweets

BTS V turned 24 on Dec. 30, 2019, and as expected, the ARMYs around the world sent their greetings and wishes for the idol singer. They also sent gifts and prepared many events for him, and these even started weeks before Kim Taehyung’s actual birthday.

Allkpop reported that BTS V’s birthday also set social media on fire as fans posted messages in different languages but saying the same things. They wish him the best and for him to be healthy always.

As soon as the clock hit 12 midnight in South Korea, tweets for BTS V’s birthday started coming in, and in minutes, the singer is trending as fans celebrate his special day, and most send their love as well. Millions of fans greeted the idol and words of support, encouragement and love poured in.

Twitter hashtags for V’s birthday

BTS Worldwide fanbase rounded up all the hashtags related to BTS V’s, and they posted the corresponding number of tweets that it was used from. The hashtags were used by millions and here are the exact figures: #HappyVDay - 3.4M tweets, #HappyTaehyungDay - 2.6M, #HappyBirthdayTaehyung - 2.6M, #태형생일ᄎᄏ - 2.2M tweets and #BornToVLoved - 1.7M tweets.

BTS members’ greetings

Of course, the BTS members did not forget to greet the second maknae in their team. The very first to greet him was the eldest member Jin. The member who also celebrated his own birthday in early December posted a photo of BTS V and a caption that reads: “Happy Birthday to our Tae Jun Pyo. I love you. Happy Happy Birthday Taehyungie!” was posted.

For Suga, he simply wrote on the band’s official Twitter account, “Happy Birthday to Taehyung who is so funny these days.” On the other hand, RM, J-Hope, and Jimin greeted BTS V by uploading several photos of their happy and silly times together.

In any case, BTS V celebrated his birthday in the U.S. as he and his hyungs have been invited to perform for the New Year Eve’s show at Times Square in New York. BTS was scheduled to perform at the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve event on Dec. 31; thus, he was not in Korea when he turned 24.
