Asian markets turn positive, Nikkei up around 2 pct

Major Asian indices are trading on a positive note on Tuesday. On the other side, Gold dips below $1270 and trading around $1264 marks. Today Japanese Yen hits fresh weekly low against US dollar and trading around 108.84 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 index was trading 2.06% higher at 16,550 points, while the broader Topix index rose 0.71% to 1,316.00 points.

The Shanghai Composite was trading little changed at 2,834.78 points, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was down 0.10% at 20,136.03 points.

South Korea's Kospi index rose 0.45% to 1,976.04 points on Tuesday.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index was trading 0.19% higher at 5,332.10 points in Sydney on Tuesday morning.

In New Zealand the benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index was trading little down at 6,883.38 points on Tuesday.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading 0.14% lower at 7,856 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.07% lower at 25,670 points.
