Asian markets turn negative, Gold falls below $1260 after FOMC meeting minutes

All the major Asian stock markets are trading on a lower note on Thursday on the back of global uncertainties. Yesterday Fed released meeting minutes, which surprisingly revealed a potential hike in June. US dollar rally just after the meeting minutes and erases previous loss against major peers.

Gold dips below $1260 and touched low of $1254 marks. On the other side, Japanese Yen remains supported above 110.00 marks against US dollar.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 index was trading 0.05% lower to 16,636 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.40% lower to 19,750 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.56% lower to 1,945.28 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 2,802.31 points while China's csi300 index to open down 0.3 pct at 3,060.34 points

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index was trading 0.83% lower to 5,311 points.
