Asian markets trading on lower note, Japan and China closed

Asian markets are trading on mix note as market digested remarks from the Federal Reserve Chain Jenet Yellen.

Markets in Japan are closed for the National Foundation Day holiday and China for the spring festival. Mainland Chinese markets and Taiwan will resume trade next week.

Hang Seng and Kospi reopened lower after its 3 day holiday.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was trading 4.23 percent lower at 18465 points.

In South Korea, Kospi was trading 2.72% lower at 1865 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.53% higher at 4801.70 points.

Indian markets have opened at lower levels. The Sensex is down 79.05 points or 0.3 percent at 23758.85 and the Nifty slips 24.15 points or 0.3 percent at 7184.55.
