Asian markets mixed, gold hits fresh 3-week low at $1,251 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on last working day of the week. On the other side, gold and silver were trading on a lower note. Gold was trading around $1,258 mark while silver was trading around $18.47 marks.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.76 percent lower at 1,987.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.28 percent higher at 17,393.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,169.40 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,387.95 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.97 percent lower at 22,617.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.25 percent higher at 5,342.40 points.
