Asian markets mixed, gold falls below $1,250

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,248 mark while silver was trading around $18.03 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 0.14 percent lower at 19,176 points. Today BOJ trims purchase of 3-5 year JGBS in market operation.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.30 percent higher at 24,418 points.

Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading around 0.84 percent higher at 5,870 marks.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.02 percent higher at 2,163.99 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,252.87 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,472.97 points.

Taiwan’s market was trading 0.21 percent lower at 9,855.43 points.
