Asian markets in red, gold back above $1,270 mark

Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Wednesday. On the other side, gold and silver were trading on a higher note. Gold was trading around $1,275 mark and silver was trading around $17.84 mark. From the economic point of view, Australia released CPI data with positive numbers at 0.7% Q/Q vs 0.4% Q/Q previous release.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.29 percent lower at 2,010.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.08 percent lower at 17,351.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,129.84 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,365.20 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.88 percent lower at 23,357.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.70 percent lower at 5,350.10 points.

Taiwan stocks open down 0.3 pct at 9,355.66 points.
