All Asian markets opened lower on Friday. Throughout this week, Asian markets have enjoyed roller coaster movement with no clear cut trend for the upcoming days. In addition, Yen and gold turn positive again on the back of weak global sentiments.
Japan's Nikkei 225 index plummeted 2.23% to 15,836.31 points on Friday morning in Tokyo, while the broader Topix index fell 1.36% to 1,293.38 points.
Hong Kong's Heng Seng was trading 0.51% lower at 19,247.21 points on Friday, while the Shanghai Composite fell 0.31% to 2,853.01 points at the opening bell.
South Korea's Kospi index traded largely unchanged at 1,905.45 points on Friday.
Australia's benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index was trading 0.75% lower to 4,954.30 points.
New Zealand benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index rose 0.29% to 6,128.55 points on Friday afternoon in Wellington.
