Japanese stock market is trading on a positive note after Wall Street closed on a similar note overnight. Apart from Japan, all other stock markets are trading lower on Tuesday.
The Nikkei 225 index reduced an early rally to trade just 0.10% higher at 16,126.18 points on Tuesday morning in Tokyo, while the broader Topix index also pared a more than 1% lead to trade 0.31% in the black at 1,304.09 points.
In Hong Kong the Heng Seng index was trading 0.50% lower at 19,371.85 points shortly after the opening bell, while the Shanghai Composite index fell 0.34% to 2,917.19 points.
South Korea's Kospi index was trading 0.06% lower at 1,915.61 points before midday in Seoul.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index traded 0.36% lower at 4983.80 points on Tuesday morning in Sydney, while New Zealand's S&P/NZX 50 index rose 0.40% to 5,021.00 points.
