U.S. President Donald Trump and his First Lady Melania Trump may have an unusual marriage but it does not mean that there is no bond between the two.
This was revealed in the new Melania Trump biography—The Art of Her Deal, written by Mary Jordan, a journalist for the Washington Post who has won a Pulitzer in 2003.
According to the Daily Express, Jordan had written that the couple has a deal from the start. That many of those whom she had interviewed told her that they may be a couple but that they hardly spend time together even when they are both staying in the same place.
The book further reads that the First Lady has her own area in the White House where there is a spa and it is very rare for her to be seen in the West Wing.
The book seemed to imply that Melania understands and is fine that her husband loves himself and his job and that he has his own life.
And yet, Melania is one of the few people that the U.S. President trusts. She is the one whom he calls first after making a speech or attending a rally. He also relies on her with regard to the White House personnel.
According to The Guardian, the book gave the impression that while everyone knows Melania, they do not really know her. What is clear though is that her life revolves around her son Barron.
Jordan also wrote that Melania has a considerable influence on things that are missed by those who dismiss her as just an accessory.
The President has been described as complicated while his First Lady is seen as an enigma, but according to the book, they are actually alike in so many ways.
The book sees the Trump couple as both fighters and survivors who put a high value on loyalty. Perhaps, their marriage is perfect after all.
