Tonight's April employment report is the main release out of Canada this week, and is one of the first pieces of hard data from Q2.
Consensus look for a soft outcome with the lingering overhang from announced job cuts in the energy and retail sectors , as well as some giveback from the prior month's firm +29k print.
The economists also look for some improvement in the manufacturing sector, after 12k of job losses ytd.
