LOS ANGELES, Dec. 05, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Attorney R. Rex Parris whose law firm filed an 85 page class action lawsuit on behalf of dozens of plaintiffs and Save Porter Ranch harmed by Southern California Gas Company’s (SoCalGas) massive gas leak in Aliso Canyon will meet with Air pollution experts on Tuesday, December 8th at 6 pm to discuss the massive Porter Ranch gas leak.
The community meeting where affected residents will be able to ask independent experts questions will be held at the Odyssey Restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Drive, Granada Hills, CA 91344. Former state regulators will explain how federal and state laws are being violated and will explain how the danger to the hard working families in Porter Ranch is not over even after this leak is plugged.
“The unprecedented leak has unleashed an uninterrupted flow of gases and fluids, including methane, methyl mercaptan, and aromatic hydrocarbons have sickened hundreds of the 30,000 residents who live in Porter Ranch,” said R. Rex Parris. “This meeting will allow Porter Ranch residents to hear from real experts about the toxic impacts from the air contamination being released by the massive failure of a Southern California Gas Company injection well,” added Parris.
Last week, Parris filed a class action complaint that names Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) and its California utility Southern California Gas Company.
