AMBASSADOR JOHN BOLTON ENDORSES AMIE HOEBER FOR U.S. CONGRESS IN MD-06

Washington, D.C., Nov. 17, 2017 -- Ambassador John Bolton announced today that he will endorse Amie Hoeber for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland’s 6^th Congressional District. In addition to the endorsement, the John Bolton PAC will make a $10,000 contribution to Hoeber’s campaign. The endorsement comes as part of a larger effort by Ambassador Bolton to ensure that top foreign-policy-minded candidates are elected to Congress.

“Amie is a national security expert and business leader who has what it takes to be an effective member of Congress,” said Ambassador Bolton. “As a former Deputy Under Secretary of the Army, Amie worked to strengthen America’s defense and national security. With this announcement, Ambassador Bolton has endorsed 19 candidates for U.S. Congress and his PAC has contributed a collective $185,000, which is the most contributed by a leadership PAC in 2017. For the 2016 elections, the John Bolton PAC contributed a total of $680,000 and endorsed 94 candidates, making it the most active leadership PAC in the country, and earning the PAC numerous industry awards.
