The Walt Disney Company will launch environment-friendly non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles from Disney Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more via the Veve app on November 12 to celebrate the first annual Disney+ Day.
According to Veve, they utilized gasless transactions in minting the NFT collectibles for a 99.9 percent reduction in environmental footprint
The first series collection called “Golden Moments” will feature “digital golden statues inspired by beloved stories and moments from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
A “special Ultra Rare digital collectible” will be also introduced that day.
The drop dates will be revealed ahead of time.
Those purchasing NFTs from the “Golden Moments” collection will get three months of Disney+ TV from Veve. However, the subscription offer doesn’t apply to secondary NFT sales.
The Veve app has dropped NFTs stemming from Marvel and DC Comics, which include special promotions based on popular superheroes like Captain America and Spider-Man.
The Disney+ promo is available in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Singapore.
