‘Shameless’ season 7’s episode 4, entitled “I Am a Storm”, is set to premiere on October 23. It will follow Frank as he imposes new house rules to keep order in his new homeless shelter family. Meanwhile, Fiona considers throwing a speakeasy party to hype up her business.
The upcoming episode’s synopsis posted on Carter Matt stated, “Frank worries that he and his new family will lose their Home for the Homeless shelter, so he plans a little goodwill for the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Fiona drums up business by throwing a speakeasy party at Patsy’s Pies.”
In the promo, Frank (William H. Macy) is seen negotiating a plan to a neighborhood council meeting saying, "I can make sure that we do our drugs and beat each other up indoors, just like the rest of you folks.” The Gallagher patriarch seems worried that his newly established family system of homeless people may end up losing their home so he decides to lay down new house rules for them to follow.
According to Ecumenical News, Frank was seen in one of the sneak previews telling his “family” that they could do or bring in whatever they wanted as long as they learned to behave themselves. He also orders his children to clean up before imposing a new set of rules.
Meanwhile, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is looking to hype up her business at Patsy’s Pies by throwing a speakeasy party. Ever since she decided to make a new life for herself after devoting most of her time taking care of the Gallaghers, it seems that she is determined to make her business and newfound freedom work.
Fiona tells one character towards the end of the promo, "The past 10 years I've taken care of every single Gallagher, except one. I'm done." In the previous episode, entitled "Home Sweet Homeless Shelter, Fiona was seen desperately trying to run Patsy’s Pies successfully but finding herself dragged in every direction all thanks to her troublesome siblings. It seems that she has finally reached her limit.
During a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rossum revealed that her character in the incoming season will finally take charge of things. She said, “Fiona is ready for a change, and no one is going to get in her way of seeing it through. She's trying to apply the loyalty that she showed to her family to herself.”
Rossum continued, “She decides the family should pick up the slack and share responsibility equally within the house, because it's been pretty one-sided for a long time. She helped all these other people be a success — now it's her turn.”
‘Shameless’ is a comedy-drama television series created by Paul Abbott. Season 7’s episode 4, entitled, "I Am a Storm", is scheduled to premiere on Showtime on October 23, 2016 and is directed by Rossum with a script by Sheila Callaghan.
