“NCIS” Season 16 Episode 7 is looking to expand the backstory of Eleanor (Emily Wickersham). The seventh episode will have the team investigate a stolen mural by an activist and street artist, someone who has a connection to Eleanor’s life, CarterMatt reported.
During the investigation, the team will uncover a conspiracy involving a contractor and his scheme involving the safety of ocean mammals. This theme is rather rare in the police procedural series as marine life isn’t exactly the focal point of stories that are being told by the show. As such, this is a great avenue to explore, especially given the state of the world’s oceans today. And with Eleanor thrown into the mix, “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 7 is shaping up to be one interesting story.
While Eleanor’s story isn’t exactly unexplored, little is known about the character and the life she leads outside her work either. As such, “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 7 can take this opportunity to shed some light on what exactly Eleanor does with her free time, as well as the people she associates with besides the team.
Eleanor has always been portrayed as someone who likes to solve things on her own and cares deeply for the things she’s passionate about. Combining both these traits, it’s safe to assume that whatever befalls this activist in “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 7, Eleanor may try to deal with the situation alone.
This may prove to be ill-advised since the agent isn’t someone who is capable of physically handling things, often solving situations by analysis and methodical means. There’s also the fact that during her tenure as an NCIS agent, the character wasn’t put in a situation where her life was on the line. Could it be that this event will finally take place in “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 7?
Anything can happen at this point. What’s certain is that the show won’t probably kill Eleanor in “NCIS” Season 16 Episode 7 since it wouldn’t make much sense if they did. Titled “A Thousand Words,” the next episode is slated to air on Nov. 13.
