BOSTON, Dec. 04, 2017 -- indico CEO Tom Wilde will present indico’s machine learning solution as part of an interactive panel session at the AI World 2017 Conference and Expo next week in Boston. The event takes place Dec. 11 – 13th at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. indico is also a featured exhibitor at the event which focuses on the business and technology of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the enterprise. They can be found at Booth #102.
In just its second year, AI World has become the industry’s largest event focused on the practice of enterprise AI and machine learning. This year’s conference will feature more than 70 sessions and 120 industry thought leaders sharing their views.
Machine learning offers tremendous opportunities for businesses, but there is still a large gap between its promise and practical deployment for most enterprises. Some of the barriers include limited access to required skillsets, insufficient data or infrastructure, poorly designed pre-trained offerings, or unrealistic expectations.
indico, which focuses on machine learning solutions for unstructured data; e.g., text, image, and other document-based information, is working to lower the barriers to entry by requiring less data, time, and investment to leverage machine learning for practical business application. indico’s solution enables enterprises to use much smaller sets of data to create customized models, giving users the ability to rapidly iterate to determine whether there’s any value in the results. Projects with worthwhile results can then be scaled and deployed with minimal engineering overhead and risk.
Wilde came to indico in September to help the company build on its early success in the financial services, insurance and legal industries and free up co-founder Slater Victoroff to focus on advancing the company’s technology platform and product vision. He’ll have a chance to share more details on the solution in the panel session.
