‘iZombie’ season 3’s episode 2, titled “Zombie Knows Best,” will feature Liv and Major as they consume brains of accident victims as Live, Clive, and Ravi investigate a fatal car accident. Meanwhile, Clive will be brought in for questioning after a family has been murdered. He will be forced to reveal his connection with them.
The lengthy synopsis for “Zombie Knows Best” posted on TV Guide reads, “Liv (Rose McIver), Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) investigate a fatal car accident and suspect foul play was involved. Starving, Liv and Major (Robert Buckley) consume the brains of the accident victims, a father and his angsty teen daughter.
Meanwhile, Clive is questioned about a family that was murdered and is forced to reveal his past history with them; Peyton (Alyson Michalka) extends an olive branch to Ravi; and Major hits a road block in his search for Natalie.”
The upcoming episode will feature Liv, Clive, and Ravi as they conduct an investigation on a fatal car accident after suspecting foul play. Unfortunately, Liv and Major’s hunger get the best of them and they proceed to eat the brains of two accident victims, respectively - an overbearing father and his angsty teenage daughter.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Rob Thomas revealed that there will be more in store for fans of Liv and Major’s relationship dynamic in the current season. Thomas said, “There are some treats in there for Liv and Major shippers — that I will promise — but Major has a couple different love interests in the season.”
He continued, “One I would describe as good for him, one I would describe as not so healthy. And as does Liv. Suddenly, she went from there being no zombie men for her to choose from in the world to there are a couple hundred very fit young zombie soldiers. So yeah, the world has opened up for Liv’s love life. So they both have love lives this season, and they certainly have their moments together as well, but this is not a big year for them dating.”
Meanwhile, Clive will be brought in for questioning about the murder of a family and he will be forced to reveal his connection and past history with them. Lastly, Major will deal with complications with his search for Natalie in the upcoming episode.
‘iZombie’ season 3’s episode 2, titled “Zombie Knows Best” is scheduled to air on The CW on April 11, 2017. It was directed by Jason Bloom and written by Diane Ruggiero-Wright. It will be followed by episode 3, titled "Eat, Pray, Liv," directed by Mairzee Almas and scheduled to be released on April 18.
