Will Apple’s latest flagship phone come in metal? That has been suggested according to the latest rumors.
TechWeb cited Foxconn insiders, who claimed that the latest device will come in a colorful “metal” frame and with a 4-inch screen. Moreover, the debut is expected to come with the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, but could be absent of the 3D Touch support already available in Apple’s other flagship devices.
Techno Buffalo deduced that the absence of an Apple phone’s major feature was probably due to the fact that the iPhone 6C could be marketed to Xiaomi’s affordable line of smartphones, including its upcoming Mi5. Phone Arena said that as it will be touted as a class “C” class device, the price of the iPhone 6C could be slightly lower than its predecessors iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s. At USD400 to USD500 per unit, there is also the question of Apple’s plans with regard to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s once the iPhone 6C will be out in the market.
