The latest version of the popular messaging app Whatsapp for the iOS has a number of surprises for iPhone users.
The app now supports 3D Touch, meaning that anyone who owns the latest iPhones can use it. IBTimes explains that the “Peek and Pop” feature of the 3D touch allows users to preview the content without having to open it.
Users with older version of the iPhone can also enjoy the new update as it brings new features and other improvements, Neurogadget explained.
The Settings Menu has been revamped and now looks almost similar to the settings menu of iPhone. Users will also get a “rich preview” of the links they receive and share on WhatsApp. The rich preview for links is currently visible only for the users that own an iOS device.
Moreover, with the latest update, v2.12.11, iPhone users can also “star” their chats and can view them in one section. For viewing all the starred messages, users need to go to Whatsapp Settings and then click on Starred Messages.
