d10e Amsterdam Set To Explore Decentralization In Fintech Sector, Disruptive Technology And More

d10e Amsterdam, the first conference focused on decentralization, is scheduled to take place this week at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, on 17th and 18th February. It will mark the company’s debut in Europe and will focus on celebrating decentralization in the financial technology sector, disruptive technology and culture, the sharing economy, and the future of work.

The event will feature short-form presentations, panels, exhibitors, workshops, a startup pitch competition, and evening socials, Bitcoinist reported.

“D10e is an opportunity to meet with old friends, colleagues, and new acquaintances to talk about the latest innovations. There is no event on the planet quite like this. I simply can’t wait”, Bitcoinist quoted Lisa Cheng, CEO of Vanbex Group, a blockchain-specialized strategic consulting firm based in Vancouver.

The two-day event will bring together more than 130 entrepreneurs and investors representing over 200 companies. The representatives will join presentations and conversations about Bitcoin, the Blockchain, disruptive technology, and the future of the industry, CoinTelegraph reported.

Brock Pierce, founder and Managing Partner of Blockchain Capital and Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation, will give the opening remarks, followed by remarks from Cécile Baird, a Franco-British Designer, Marketer and Community-Builder, specialising in Technology, Finance & Start-ups.

“The conference will bring together top leaders to share their insights on the overall state of decentralization while providing attendees with opportunities to develop meaningful relationships and actionable knowledge to enrich their businesses,” CoinTelegraph quoted Brock Pierce.

Prominent figures in the bitcoin ecosystem such as Jeff Garzik, Washington Sanchez, Brian Hoffman, Roger Ver and others will take up diverse topics such as bitcoin, smart contracts, Internet of Things, blockchain and much more.

In the Blockchain Startup Competition, select finalists will present their idea or product before a panel of venture capitalists, experienced angel investors, and experts in decentralizing technologies as well as a live and intimate audience. After each pitch, the panel will engage in a Q&A and share their insights and advice to each company. Judging criteria is based on business model, customer validation, execution, and design.
