Lisa Portolan is a PhD Candidate at Western Sydney University. She has a BA Communications and International Studies and a Masters of International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney. She is a published author: Happy As (Echo, Melbourne, 2018) and writes for a number of publications. She heads up The Mark Agency, Sydney Office and is the current Chair of the Registered Communications Group. Her field of study includes: dating apps, intimacy; digital intimacies and publics and the changing landscape of communication.
