Professor of Film and Visual Culture, University of Aberdeen
I am Professor of Film and Visual Culture at the University of Aberdeen, where I teach courses on modern and contemporary art.

I published the first comprehensive academic study of performance art in Eastern Europe with Manchester University Press in 2017. My current research explores other examples of "peripheral" performance art histories from across the globe.
