The second season for the show that’s all about dancing just ended, and now, questions about when “World of Dance” Season 3 will be coming are already in the minds of fans. The good news is that it seems the new season has been greenlit, so viewers can see even more of the entertaining episodes. This is despite the fact that the show’s ratings dropped in the previous season.
As Carter Matt notes, the fact that “World of Dance” Season 3 was given the green light means that NBC believes in the concept of the show. This is despite the fact that its average rating within the 18-49 demographic was only at a measly 1.3. The publication also proceeded to speculate that the network had already accounted for this possibility and has more than likely predicted it.
Coming back to the topic at hand, one of the things that should be continued in “World of Dance” Season 3 is the format of the show. On the other hand, the simple fact is that the concept for the show can be quite limiting. After all, just how many times can viewers watch others dance before they are bored?
Unlike singing, “World of Dance” Season 3 will be all about things that a lot of people know they’ll be able to do. Not everyone has blessed vocal chords, but most people are born with arms and legs. As such, dancing has often been considered the less entertaining activity in comparison.
For now, though, it’s clear that the show still has a lot more to offer, at least in “World of Dance” Season 3. In fact, Goldderby has conducted a poll as to which performers should be given another chance in the upcoming season. After all, season two saw many returning talents after failing to secure the win in the first, so the same could happen in the upcoming third season.
