NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2017 -- WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (NASDAQ:WETF), an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor and asset manager driven by research and technology, today announced the development of the WisdomTree IQCIO Risk-Managed Model Portfolios in collaboration with IQCIO, a quantitative digital advisory solution developer tailored to meet an advisor’s unique objectives for risk, return and diversification. The WisdomTree IQCIO models are part of a select group of portfolios offered by Key Investment Services LLC (“KIS”).
A Differentiated Approach to Multi-Asset Investing
The WisdomTree IQCIO Risk-Managed Model Portfolios incorporate market volatility into an innovative asset allocation process that seeks to mitigate losses and maximize risk-adjusted returns. The models combine WisdomTree’s fundamentally-weighted investment approach with IQCIO’s Intelligent Portfolio Optimizer (“IPO”) for ETF selection and dynamic asset allocation, creating opportunities to add alpha for investors.
Tom Skrobe, WisdomTree Head of Client Solutions, said, “The launch of these new model portfolios underscores WisdomTree’s commitment to helping advisors solve investment challenges they face in the current market environment.”
Luciano Siracusano, WisdomTree Chief Investment Strategist, said, “Increasingly, we are hearing that investors are looking for ways to build their savings while defensively participating in the appreciation potential offered by equity markets. The challenge is how to participate in the upside while mitigating losses during periods of high volatility.”
“In collaboration with the IQCIO team, our WisdomTree IQCIO Model Portfolios aim to deliver smarter solutions, capturing the key strengths of both organizations: WisdomTree’s innovative and differentiated smart beta solutions and IQCIO’s quantitative approach to portfolio management,” Siracusano continued.
The WisdomTree IQCIO Risk-Managed Model Portfolios – Conservative, Moderate or Aggressive – are available only for KIS Financial Advisors through the Envestnet Wealth Management Platform.
Ed Ho, IQCIO CEO, said, “We are excited to work with WisdomTree, a pioneer in smart beta and factor investing. IQCIO’s Intelligent Portfolio Optimizer ('IPO'), specializing in dynamically risk-managed, multi-asset portfolios, is guided by over three years of intensive proprietary risk management research.”
Skrobe added, “We’re thrilled to work with other innovators in the industry, such as IQCIO, to develop the solutions necessary for advisors and investors to navigate and solve for challenges ahead.”
The WisdomTree model portfolios are also available for advisors on wisdomtree.com.
