NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C., Aug. 01, 2017 -- Window World®, America’s largest replacement window and exterior remodeling company, is proud to announce its newest franchise in Fargo, North Dakota. Window World of Fargo, located at 4331 12th Ave. N., is owned by North Dakota native, Carter Broer, his wife, Melissa Broer and his brother, Bronson Broer. Carter and Melissa will oversee daily operations at the franchise location, and the store will service counties in both North Dakota and Minnesota.
Before joining Window World, Carter spent 12 years working in commercial construction. During his time as a carpenter, Carter spent his evenings and weekends selling and installing his own work. Quickly becoming a successful salesman, Carter decided to take on a full-time sales position with Window World of La Crosse in Wisconsin to learn more about the business. “I knew from the minute I walked in the door that Window World was the place for me. Everyone was an absolute pleasure to work with,” Carter said.
Carter immediately jumped at the opportunity to bring a Window World franchise back to Fargo after the area lost its store in 2011. “Owning a Window World location became the main goal for my wife Melissa and I soon after I started at Window World of La Crosse,” said Carter. “There was absolutely zero hesitation between us when the opportunity arose to bring Window World back to Fargo. We are extremely grateful and excited to be a part of this amazing community, and we can’t wait to grow our business in the Fargo area.”
Melissa’s journey to Window World began with Carter, but her love for design and home remodeling goes back much further. “Carter is what brought me to Window World,” Melissa stated. “We’ve dreamt of owning our own business since we met. We both love carpentry and home remodeling, so we thought that this would be a perfect fit for us. My father is a talented builder and designer himself, so I grew up with an eye for detail and design. As a child, I was always out in the garage with him cutting wood and building things.”
Window World of Fargo joins more than 200 locally-owned Window World stores across the nation and opens for business on August 1st, 2017. The store will sell and install windows, doors and other exterior products year-round. Window World’s products have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal for ten consecutive years and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
