FORT MYERS, Fla., Aug. 30, 2017 -- WhereverTV Broadcasting Corp. (OTC:TVTV), which delivers Over the Top (OTT) subscription television services to a variety of devices including smartphones, TabletPCs, streaming media players, computers and connected TVs, announced today that it has named production industry veteran Sondra Brunone as VP of Production and Content, effective immediately.
Brunone will spearhead the company’s effort to develop and produce original entertainment programming featuring a variety of lifestyle, music, television and Web-prominent influencers for distribution exclusively on the WhereverTV subscription-based platform.
Brunone, an award-winning production entrepreneur, producer, director and scriptwriter, co-founded the successful Dallas-based production company ImageMaker in 1998. ImageMaker’s live event, corporate and post-production arm was acquired last month, leaving Brunone free to pivot and dedicate her previous and future production and content development efforts in a new direction with WhereverTV. She will be actively exploring future entertainment opportunities for the organization, uncovering new entertainment influencers and developing new entertainment concepts, as well as producing original content for WhereverTV’s popular “Digital RodeoTV” channel, featuring stars such as Collin Raye, Daryl Worley and Aaron Tippin.
“WhereverTV is the missing link in today’s OTT world. We can offer outstanding entertainment distribution options to a variety of talented creative professionals and artists, while we, in the process, provide unexpected, ground-breaking and unusual reality-based programming for WhereverTV subscribers,” says Brunone. “While other OTTs are focusing on scripted entertainment, we’re seeking to secure our position as the place to view appealing, niche-focused unscripted shows – all on one easy-to-use platform that lets subscribers take their entertainment with them wherever they choose to view it.” Brunone continues, “I’m incredibly excited to be a part of an organization that is so unique and forward-thinking. I recognize the immediate potential of WhereverTV to connect with the new, unplugged viewing audience.”
“WhereverTV set a long-term growth plan in motion 2 years ago to become one of the leading OTT companies in the world. Within that plan we placed a major focus on creating our own unique and original content and with the signing of Country music artists Darryl Worley, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye, we needed someone with the experience and knowledge to set that plan in motion,” said Edward D. Ciofani, CEO. “Adding Sondra, an award-winning production entrepreneur, producer, director and scriptwriter to the WhereverTV team is an unbelievably great addition. Sondra will immediately start the process of setting up production for the various unique shows we have slated,” Edward D. Ciofani, CEO WhereverTV also stated.
