As fall approaches, Starbucks and Dunkin' are preparing to release their highly anticipated seasonal menus. According to insider leaks, Dunkin's fall offerings may debut on August 28, while Starbucks could launch as early as August 22.
Starbucks and Dunkin' Prepare to Launch Fall Menus: Leaks Suggest Late August Debut for Seasonal Favorites
The crisp, cool air and changing leaves will soon arrive in New Jersey, signaling the approach of fall. While summer is still in full swing, national coffee chains like Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts are gearing up to release their fall menus, typically launched in late August.
Dunkin' has not officially announced its fall menu's release date, but last year, the chain shared a press release on August 16 revealing its seasonal offerings. According to food insider Markie Devo, who found a leaked image of Dunkin's new menu, the fall items are set to debut on August 28, as reported on the influencer's Instagram page.
The leaked menu includes favorites like the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte and the Almond Spice Coffee, both available hot or cold. A new addition is the Dunkalatte, featuring a Coffee Milk Iced Latte with rich espresso and proprietary coffee milk. However, last year's Nutty Pumpkin Coffee and the Pumpkin Swirl are noticeably absent from this year's lineup.
Dunkin’ and Starbucks Unveil Fall Menus: Pumpkin Treats, Spiked Lattes, and Seasonal Favorites Return
Dunkin's pumpkin bakery items, including the Pumpkin Cake Donut, Pumpkin Munchkins, Pumpkin Muffin, Apple Cider Donut, and Banana Chocolate Chip Bread, will return. The Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich, wrap, and Maple Sugar Snackin' Bacon will also make a comeback.
Dunkin' is also venturing into the alcoholic beverage market again this fall, introducing a Spiked Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte, announced in an August 7 press release. This new alcoholic drink is now available in 27 states, including New Jersey, following the 2023 release of Dunkin's Spiked Iced Coffee and Spiked Iced Tea. The spiked iced coffee comes in original, mocha, and vanilla flavors, while the spiked iced tea is available in slightly sweet, half-and-half, strawberry dragonfruit, and mango pineapple flavors.
Starbucks, like Dunkin', typically rolls out its fall menu in late August, with last year's release on August 23. While Starbucks has not confirmed an exact date this year, a Starbucks employee in Virginia told USA TODAY that the menu will likely debut on August 22, a date also reported by Devo.
The leaked Starbucks fall menu features the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte, available hot, iced, or as a frappuccino. Other pumpkin drinks include the Pumpkin Cold Brew and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai. The menu includes apple-flavored beverages such as the returning Iced Apple Crisp Shaken Espresso with Oatmilk and Apple Crisp Macchiato with Oatmilk. A new Iced Apple Crisp Cream Chai (nondairy) is also expected to be available.
For food, Starbucks will offer the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Baked Apple Croissant, and a new Racoon Vanilla Cakepop as part of its fall menu release.
