Actress Evan Rachel Wood revealed some interesting bits about her character Dolores for the upcoming second season of “Westworld. In Season 1, we’ve seen Dolores Abernathy living an idyllic life as a damsel-in-distress in the wild wild West, right until she discovers that her life is not what it seems to be, and that she is merely a host in an elaborately set-up park to help satisfy customers’ fantasies. Wood believes that in Season 2, her character’s journey to become self-aware will lead her to become, well, different.
"I’m really curious to see the unleashed version of her that we caught a glimpse of at the very end of the finale. Those final seconds, I think we were seeing a completely different side to her, completely different programming and completely off of her leash, so I don’t think she will be the same person; she’ll be an evolved version," she told Entertainment Weekly.
Den of Geek said Wood may have a grasp of her character’s evolvement in the series, but we have to wait for at least a synopsis, considering the fact that showrunner Jonathan Nolan have changed Season 2’s plotline. Digital Spy said the initial plot for Season 2 was unfortunately leaked by Westworld fans on Reddit. Although he is super excited about the upcoming Season, he’d rather want the fans to stop publishing their theories online.
"Reddit has already figured out the third episode twist. So, we're changing that right now. It's annoying sometimes when people guess the twists and then blog about it, but the engagement is gratifying, on one level, because if someone guesses your twist, it means you've done an adequate job [of structuring the series]," he said at a film fest panel.
