CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Another proven industry leader partners with SmartSky Networks as the nationwide network rollout of SmartSky 4G LTE continues. Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, will serve as an authorized dealer for hardware sales and installation of SmartSky’s innovative technology. Boise, Idaho-based Western Aircraft will sell and install SmartSky equipment across many business jet models using STC licenses obtained from SmartSky’s earliest distribution partners.

Its broadband connectivity system will provide service over the continental United States using an ATG platform that leverages 60 MHz of spectrum, 20 times more than the incumbent, to open up full-throttle, unrestricted access to the web. SmartSky provides 10 times the typical speed of the current ATG provider, rivaling speeds of 4G Wi-Fi customers use on the ground in their homes and businesses.

Western Aircraft customers who sign up during SmartSky’s limited-time nationwide Network Launch Promotion will receive bonus data, including an unlimited option (subject to terms and conditions).
