Wendy’s fall menu refresh brings three new limited-time items starting November 12, including the cozy Salted Caramel Frosty, a savory Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger, and an upgraded Taco Salad. The Salted Caramel Frosty will replace the vanilla Frosty, while the seasonal Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty is set to retire.
Wendy’s Unveils Limited-Time Fall Menu with Unique Seasonal Flavors Starting November 12
Wendy’s is introducing three new fall-inspired menu items that will be available for a limited time starting November 12. Departing from the expected Thanksgiving flavors, these additions explore new seasonal tastes.
First, the salted caramel Frosty joins the lineup, offering a “warm and cozy comfort in every chilly bite,” according to a company press release. A Wendy's source confirmed that this new flavor will replace the vanilla Frosty upon its arrival. Additionally, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, a SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired flavor launched on October 8, will be discontinued for the salted caramel.
The mushroom bacon cheeseburger is the next item on the fall menu. It features roasted mushrooms, bacon, Muenster cheese, and creamy garlic spread atop a beef patty, embracing a Funghi profile.
The final addition is an upgraded taco salad. This version of the Mexican-inspired dish incorporates a creamy salsa dressing, fire-roasted corn, tortilla strips, and chili, departing from the original’s combination of chili, tortilla chips, sour cream, and salsa.
Wendy’s Rotates Frosty Flavors, Phasing Out Pineapple Under the Sea in Seasonal Shift
In September, the vanilla Frosty’s latest phase-out was hinted at its reintroduction when a Wendy’s spokesperson mentioned that “nothing on our menu is meant to last forever.” Previous seasonal Frosty flavors that temporarily replaced the vanilla version have included triple berry, orange creamsicle, peppermint, pumpkin spice, and strawberry.
Although not strictly seasonal, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty arrived as part of Wendy’s Krabby Patty Kollab in celebration of SpongeBob SquarePants' 25th anniversary. Inspired by the cartoon’s iconic pineapple home, this Frosty flavor combines the vanilla Frosty base with a pineapple-mango swirl. The Krabby Patty Kollab Burger, also part of this collaboration, included a beef patty, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and a “top-secret” Krabby Kollab sauce on a toasted bun, rounding out Wendy’s recent innovative offerings.
