Many things have been said about “Warcraft 3: Reforged” and, based on ratings aggregators, most of them are not good feedback. To be fair, Blizzard Entertainment has been actively releasing patches to improve the game.
‘Warcraft 3: Reforged’ players to get monthly patches, Blizzard says
Recently, the video game company confirmed they have a team whose sole focus is the remastered real-time strategy title. The latest patch for “Warcraft 3: Reforged” comes with a message from one of the game’s community managers promising a regular arrival of patches for the game.
Blizzard forums community manager Kaivax reminded “Warcraft 3: Reforged” players that Blizzard has a “dedicated team” working on the game. “Alongside our continued efforts to bring monthly patches with bug fixes and quality of life changes, the team is prioritizing delivering features like Ranked Ladders, Profiles, Clans, and Custom Campaigns,” Kaivax added.
However, there were no specific details or timeline about significant updates for the said gameplay aspects. Kaivax only promised “Warcraft 3: Reforged” players to hear about them once they are close to getting released. The community manager has also assured fans that developers are working hard on the title, but most replies in the forums post do not seem convinced.
The full launch of “Warcraft 3: Reforged” has been quite controversial. The game was initially planned for a 2019 release until Blizzard announced it was delayed until late January. When the RTS went live, its developers faced backlash over an array of gameplay and performance issues along with content that many players claim do not correspond with trailers that were previously released.
‘Warcraft 3: Reforged’ players receive patch 1.32.3 with art and gameplay improvements
For this month, “Warcraft 3: Reforged” players receive patch 1.32.3 that so far has the longest release notes compared to earlier updates. Some of the most significant changes have been applied to the art and gameplay aspect of the RTS.
Once players have the latest version of “Warcraft 3: Reforged,” Naga units should now leave footprints while Magtheridon’s animation should now match with the movement speed when players opt for a slower setting. Players also encountered issues with custom hotkeys when playing “Reforged,” but this issue has been addressed in patch 1.32.3. More updates have been applied to the game’s audio, Campaign, Custom Games, Editor, graphics, Non-Ladder Maps, and UI.
