In a few days, Android fans are going to witness the launch of the Vivo X70 series. However, they might not have to wait for the official announcement to see the technical specifications of the three-device lineup.
Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro specs
The launch of the Vivo X70 series is just a few days away, but China Telecom may have beaten Vivo to the punch. The company has reportedly listed by accident the technical specifications of all devices to arrive as part of the lineup.
The base model and Vivo X70 Pro share several similar specs. They will sport a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. They are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1080, but it is unclear if the global version will have a different SoC.
Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro will have different cameras and batteries, though. The base model will sport a triple camera on the back with 40MP, 12MP ultra-wide, and 12MP portrait lenses. It will ship with a 4400mAh battery.
As for the Vivo X70 Pro, it reportedly sports a quad-camera array with 50MP, 12MP ultra-wide, 12MP portrait, and 8MP telephoto sensors. The leak says it has a tad bigger battery with a 4450mAh capacity. Meanwhile, all three devices in the lineup are listed with a 32MP selfie camera.
Vivo X70 Pro+ specs
The high-end Vivo X70 Pro+ will be a more powerful variant in several aspects. The China Telecom leak indicates it is powered by Snapdragon 888+, which is likely the same SoC used on its global version.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ also sports a bigger screen with a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has four cameras on the back but, unlike the Vivo X70 Pro, it has a huge ultra-wide lens with 48MP resolution.
It is not surprising that the Vivo X70 Pro+ has the biggest battery in the series, although the difference is not too much, with a 4500mAh capacity. The Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro are both expected to support 44W fast charging and 55W on the high-end model.
Vivo X70 series launch date
The Vivo global website already has an official teaser for the Vivo X70 series that highlights its Zeiss optics features. But previous reports have it that the smartphone lineup will be unveiled first in China on Thursday, Sept. 9, while a countdown on Vivo’s website indicates it will launch globally next week.
