The Virtual Heroes Division of Applied Research Associates has been selected by prime Systems Kinetics as a teammate on the $84 million, five-year Serious Educational Games Solutions (SEGS) contract. The contract for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will provide virtual environments for training healthcare providers to treat the nation’s Veterans.

To the SEGS team, Virtual Heroes brings experienced instructional designers and creative, technical, and artistic talent experienced in working with a wide variety of delivery methods, including e-learning formats, 3D simulations and serious games, and instructor-led or facilitated classroom training. Virtual Heroes’ experience includes the development of high-fidelity virtual patients, virtual clinical environments, and an advanced real-time physiology engine that can be used across training environments.
