Riot Games premiered the “Valorant” Duality cinematic lore last week, and it was accompanied by a free Player Card of the same name. However, many fans were disappointed as they encountered recurring issues on the website where they were supposed to redeem the limited-time card.
Riot Games makes up for the faulty launch of ‘Valorant’ Duality card
The “Valorant” lore was released during the Champions Tour 2 Masters Reykjavik on May 30. The Duality Player Card became available immediately after that, but soon many players found that the page for redeeming in-game items was crashing. The issue seemed to have persisted several hours after the announcement, which was a huge disappointment because the card was initially available for 48 hours only.
In the following days, Riot Games recognized the issue in redeeming the Duality Player Card and said they had removed the 48-hour limit. However, some “Valorant” fans replied to the announcement saying the redeem page was still displaying an error message that the code to get the item has expired.
Due to the issues with our code redemption process, we're granting all players the Duality player card! You should see the card appear in your inventory soon. ICYMI, take a look at the Duality cinematic and dive deeper into the lore of VALORANT: https://t.co/U07uVbAWfz

It appears that the issue has persisted, despite Riot Games’ promise to remove the time limit. On the bright side, though, the developer has issued another statement regarding the Duality Player Card saying it will be given away for free to all “Valorant” players. The developer did not mention a specific timeline for the giveaway and only told fans, “You should see the card appear in your inventory soon.”
‘Valorant’ patch 2.11 reportedly includes teasers for upcoming Agent
In other “Valorant” news, Riot Games released patch 2.11 on Tuesday, which should be the last update before Episode 3 begins. The patch notes do not look like much, but Twitter user Disturbo has found several interesting changes in the A Site of the Breeze map. They appear to be hinting at the arrival of a new Agent.

A closer view of everything! The most remarkable changes are:
???? The knife on the Radianite box
✅ The teleport (we're sure it is one now!) is "ready"
???? "Arrival Imminent", another change to the screen
???? Some computers are now yellow! pic.twitter.com/2MswsF8rNI
Disturbo shared screenshots of these changes from the said location, including a knife poking on a Radianite box that may have come from an adjacent teleport machine. Some of the computers in the background now have yellow screens and a card that says “arrival imminent” was also added after the “Valorant” patch 2.11.
Riot Games previously confirmed that the next Agent is arriving with the launch of “Valorant” Episode 3. In a State of the Agents post last May 28, the developer did not reveal much about the next Agent and character producer John Goscicki only had this to say, “This is an Agent who’s utility can create moments where you must rely on your gunplay.”
