“Val x Love” season 1 has ended with 12 episodes, and the finale was titled “The Loving Maiden.” The story showed a victory for the Valkyries and Takuma, but there are still many interesting things to tie up; thus, a new installment is needed to continue the story.
However, there is no announcement about “Val x Love” season 2 yet. Fans want to know if they are getting new episodes or not, and they want some answer now.
Valkyries’ win
In any case, “Val x Love” season 1 ended well, and like many have been hoping, the Valkyries and their lover, Takuma, have won the battle against the monsters or Akuma. Though everyone was happy with their victory, Misa was confined on a bed as she was badly hurt.
Takuma tried to heal her because they believe he is capable of getting her back to good health, but it was not working. Later, he tried again and decided to save her by going through Niflheim, where Misa’s soul has been trapped.
He succeeded in claiming back Misa’s soul, and they went back together in the real world. The two made it out alive, and as Misa has fully recovered, the nine Valkyries now understand why their father chose Takuma to be the Einheijer, the lover who gives them strength after doing a “Val Love.”
Takuma is no longer scared of people
Aside from defeating the monsters and saving Misa, the next big thing that happened after the battle was Takuma’s healing from his symptoms. “Val x Love” season 1 episode 12 showed that he had overcome his trauma of being scared around people, and most of all, he finally achieved his ultimate goal of getting good grades.
It was not that all because he did not simply pass with flying colors, but he emerged as no. 1 in the student’s ranking as well. This ultimately fulfilled his vow to his mom of passing in high school.
Series’ renewal
“Val x Love” season 2 is highly likely to be renewed because even the ending of the first season suggests there will be more episodes. Another one of the Valkyries sister, Shino, has arrived in Takuma’s home, and this will surely open the series for more stories ahead.
Finally, “Val x Love” season 2 is predicted to arrive in October 2020 on HIDIVE.
